RG1 Register problem

Dear Guru

I have scenario where X plant purchases the Raw Material & send to their Y plant to process,

After processing X plant receives the material as semi finished Goods & X plant further process to make FG.

Here problem I am facing is when Y plant receives the material the same material is getting updated/reflecting in RG1 Register

Request you to suggest how could I stop updating the updation?

If the material code in each and every stage is different, then I dont think, you will have this issue.  Let us assume you have the following scenario.

• ROH material code is ABC in Plant X & Plant Y
• After Processing in Plant Y, this material code should change to DEF with material type HALB
• So Plant X should inward with material code DEF and do their process to convert into FG

In your case, I feel, material code is same in all the above process and hence the issue.

Dear Senjeev,

The update process of RG1 register in this case is correct.

Your X plant purchasing the Material from the supplier and

sending the material to its intenal plant Y with the same material code

after rework only the material number will change.
