Asset Migration

Hi All,

We made a copy of one company code and we would like to transfer all assets from the old company code to the new one. When we tested the template that we used for upload last time when SAP was implemented, it uploaded the asset master datas and did not show any error messages. However, when we check Asset Explorer or Asset History Report in the new company code, it would show the assets uploaded but without any values. Please advice what may be the cause of the values not being updated and how we can resolve this issue. Thank you!

Hi,

Here 3 steps are to be done.

1.  Create same number of new assets in new company code that many you require to transfer.

2.  Use T-Code ABUMN and use multiple transfer option and transfer all assets from one company code to other company code.

3.  Block all assets in old company code, so that no depreciation is now posted in that assets.
