Hello Manny,
I had the same issue with the new install of EPM for Excel
Please follow these steps, I hope it would help you
Excel --> File --> Options
In Excel Options window --> Add-Ins
Look for : Inactive Application Add-ins
Select : EPM add-in for Microsoft Office
At the bottom Manage drop box select COM Add-in ( Default is Excel Add-ins in most cases)
Select the add-ins in check box and OK
will show up in excel ribbon
Thanks
Hello Manny,
Please make sure .Net Framework 3.5 and 3.5 SP01 are installed.
1. Delete EPM Add-on
2. Install missing prerequisites (.NEt Framework)
3. Install EPM Add-on
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Kirill
Hi Manny
Please make sure you are following the rules below:
- Office 2010 32 bit + EPM add-in .NET 3.5 or .NET 4.0
- Office 2010 64 bit + EPM add-in .NET 4.0
Also, you need to check if EPM add-in for Microsoft Office is in Excel Options > Add-Ins > Inactive Application Add-ins or Manage > Disabled Items
Best regards,
Chuan
Hi Manny,
Try below one this might help.
Go to registry editor and go to the path
HKEY_CURRENT_USER->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->Office->Excel->Addins->FPMXMLClient.Connect
and select Load Behaviour and change the value data to 3.
This will allow you to connect to the model from web.
Best regards,
Mani Chandra
