Hi,

I have a process chain and it has only two process in it.

1. Start

2. Trigger Event data change

In the trigger event data change, it in not allowing me to enter anything in "Determine Infoproviders using process chains:select the variants to be included" area. I am able to enter the infoprovider name in the "specify infoproviders directly " area.

Why this area is not available?

Please help! Any input will be a great help!

Thanks in advance,

Sapna

Sapna,

The trigger event data change is for triggering Information broadcasting ...

Once this event is triggered - the dependent IB jobs will be triggered... Since the trigger for IB is to know when the data has changed in the base infoprovider - you can only specify the infoprovider in this variant.

Hi Sapna,

As Arun said, this step is used for triggering Information Broadcasting.

The list "Determine InfoProviers using process chains: Select the variants to be included" will contain the steps already available in the PC in which we are including the "Trigger Event data change" step. By selecting the check box, load for that step will be checked before broadcasting. We can include additional infoproviders exclusively which are not included in the PC by adding them to "Specify InfoProviders directly: Select InfoProviders using input help for the 'InfoProvider' field"

This is the reason why the first area will not be available for entering more processes

Thanks a lot to Both of you for such a quick reply! Really appreciate!

(I wanted to click correct on both the posts, but it gave option to select that only in one post at a time)
