BPC 10 Scaling data in the report

Hi,

Does anyone know how to scale data in BPC 10 report (Microsoft version). I tried to create a report using EPM Add-in but could not find anywhere options to scale the data. Any quick help is apprecaited.

Thanks.

    Hello Srinivas,

Please note that the EPMScaleData function allows the user to retrieve data for a full set of members, and to scale the data. Any member not specified is taken from the context.

The data is divided by the number entered in the scale parameter and the result is displayed in the

    selected cell.

When using a Planning and Consolidation connection, the division is performed only on for accounts

that are scalable. If an account is not scalable, the original amount is displayed in the cell.

Note: EPM -> More -> Member Properties.

    I hope this helps,

    Best regards,

    Nedra.

      Hello Srinivas,

      Please try the following option:

Options -->Sheet Options-->Refresh-->Keep formula on data

Please be aware that some times this is not enough so you need to check also the option in the report options. For doing that, please go to:

EPM tab--> Edit Report --> Options Tab --> uncheck inherit sheet option --> check the keep formula on data checkbox.

If none of the options above worked for you, I suggest you to use a Macro to put your Formulas back after the refresh.

I hope I have been helpful.

      Best regards,

      Nedra.
