Latest dashboard SP4

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade our BO Edge system to SP4 and the dashboard to SP4(including FP3). i.e SBOP DASHBOARDS 4.0 SP04 (incl. FP03) WINDOWS (32B)

Now after the upgrade of the both BO server and dashboard frontend, can i create a dashboard with BEx queries ("data manager"------>SAP NW BW connection) and publish it directly on the BO launchpad instead of BI java ?

Hi,

First, You need to create an OLAP connection to your BW  in IDT or CMC and publish it.

Then, from Dashboard client, You would go:  Query Browser -> BEx Query -> open the above connection    etc .. etc.

After this,  yo ucan publish to BIPlatform / BILaunchpad  (rather than NW / Portal)

Hi Sapbi,

If you are using Qaaws and WebI web services in your dashboards, there is a bug in SP4. You might have the same issue if you upgrade your system. You might check with other people on this issue who has already upgraded their environment to SP4.

Hi,

Yes, you can create dashboard with Bex quries using SAP NW BW connection and publish it directly on the BO.
