regarding COGI

hello gurus,

                 error handling in goods movement is handled through transaction code "COGI" can we make any changes in spro .

Dear Rao,

What is your exact query /business requirement?

In standard SAP,all the error goods movements gets stored/accumulated in COGI.

In case if you want to restrict/deactivate this you can follow the steps as mentioned by our forum

members.(If I remember correctly then the settings made in OPK4 only works when operation

confirmations are made in CO11N,and not when CO15 is used - Correct me if I'm wrong).

Hi Pothini,

You can terminate the goods movements at CO11N itself if any errors are there in goods movements.

It will never go to COGI. With this option you can control the shop floor inventory also properly.

SPRO > PRODUCTION > SHOP FLOOR CONTROL > OPERATIONS > CONFIRMATION > DEFINE CONFIRMATION PARAMETERS

Select an order, there in tab individual entry general , you can activate the termination of incorrect goods movement.

Then try confirmations in CO11N with errors. It will give error message and it will not post in COGI.

I do not understand what you want to ask by stating can we make any setting in SPRO? If you are asking is there any setting for it.

Yes setting is available in spro in confirmation opk4.

In OPK4 if you activate terminate for incorrect goods movement, then if there are material stock are less than required then the entries will not be posted to COGI, and confirmation transaction CO11N terminates.
