Dear Experts

As I'm not good in e-mail settings, let me confirm you and give me your advices.

Client is using old SBO version 2007B PL11 and want use SBO-Mailer.

They are using imap.gmail.com as SMTP which sender port is 465.

I know, that in current SBO version it is able to set the port number, but in old SBO-Mailer there is no place to set the port number.

(It seems SBO-Mailer in 2007B uses Port number 25).

Does it mean, by using 2007B it is not able to use imap.gmail.com?

To use the SMTP server with port 465, they have to upgrade SBO?

Regards

Gen

Hi Gen,

You may check the solution part of this sap note belows:

Symptom

SBO Mailer uses port 25 as the standard mail port. There is no option to use a different port.

Cause

A major telecommunications company together with postal subscription services in Poland has blocked port 25 and is using other ports for mail  services. To allow users of the Polish localization to continue using  the SAP Business One mailing function, it must be possible to change the mail port in SBO Mailer.

Solution

For all localizations, the "SMTP Port" field is added to the "General Settings" window of SBO Mailer. The default value for the field can be changed according to the customer's requirements.

SAP intends to provide a patch or patches in order to solve the problem described.
