Is it ok to change the Access Numbering of an existing access sequence?

Example of my existing access sequence

Access No. Table Description

1 A900 Sales Order# / SO Item# / Material

2 A901 Sales Org Order / SO Item# / Material

4 A902 Sales Org Order / Material

10 A903 Sales Org Order /Sales Order# /Plant / Material

Want to change it to

Access No. Table Description

5 A910 Sales Org Order /Sales Order# / SO Item# / Material

10 A900 Sales Order# / SO Item# / Material

20 A901 Sales Org Order / SO Item# / Material

30 A902 Sales Org Order / Material

40 A903 Sales Org Order /Sales Order# /Plant / Material

    To me it looks step 40 needs to be moved above step 20 or atleast before 30. I am just surprised to see SO item# in the access sequence. What business needs pricing specific to SO item#? Does the item# refers the step# in the sales order?
