IN QM View Inspection set up Tab is not visible

Dear SAP,

  In QM view it seen that in one plant the insp.Setup tab is visible ,but on other plant for same material the insp.setup tab is not visible what may be the reason fro that.

If you want to activate any inspection type, try using QA08, whether system allows or not. If you don't find this material in QA08, it means material is not extended to the plant.

Did you check whether you have any missing authorization?

HI Asif,

It is possible that in MM01 it was missed for this perticular plant.

Go to MM02 and try to check the radio button to active "Inspection Setup".

I hope, you've entered Organizational Levels (i.e. Plant & Stor Loc) correctly while displaying/changing material master... 🙂 or else QM view is not extended.

Hi Anup,

QM view is there fro all plant, But for some material which r Z-consumable ,for that material when we go in QM view the inspec.setup tab is present in one plant & for the same material the Inspe.setup tab of QM view is not present.

Hi Asif,

Perhaps the material is not extended to that plant. Try using MM01 for QM view for this plant. If still not then check with /nsu53 for both MM01/MM02 transactions to verify if this is an authorisation issue.

Hi Anand,

   The material is extended to that plant & QM view is also selected in MM01.This material r Z-type material,If i check for other material in both plant is show the insp-setup tab,but for this Z-type consumable in not showing, in one plant & showing in other plant.
