Conditionally AUTOapprove Leave within ESS MSS

IS there a standard task to post the leave request to the employee's ESS Leave Overview area when a Leave Request is submitted?

Using standard approval task: TS21500003 in main approval leg, but if the initiator = the approver, then I want to bypass the approval.

Doing that completed the workflow, but doesn't post the leave request to the ESS area as mentioned above.

So... I need a task to post this. I see the standard task mentioned previously is attached to a class.

Suggestions? Thank you. ~ Alicia

We had to develop a custom task for this.

We based it on the standard task and engineered it to pass the complete/approved flag.

We didn't find a standard auto approve task.

BTW there is a WF congif wher you can select approval not required.

This isn't useful in this case b/c you will still want the WF notifications and update to the PT_REQ... table.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

What you can do is, in the class CL_PT_REQ_WF_ATTRIBS there is a method APPROVE. so just create a standard task and use this class and method in that task this method just does the same what exactly you are looking for, all you have to do is make sure you have done the appropriate binding I mean pass the REQ object to task container.
