CTP run

Dear experts,

                        We are working with CTP scenario.We create sales order in ECC with requested delivery date, today+7 days

However system proposes furture date on the basis of capacity & material availability .

Is there any way that system should provide information about Capacity (resources),materials by which system proposes future date

I checked planning log but no information.

Appreciate your inputs!

Hi Milind,

Not really, you can just check the situation in /SAPAPO/RRP3 afterwards to find the reason for the delay. Check the created planned order with its acivities and also the component availability. Recheck the capacity to produce the planned order.

Dear Milind,

I don´t think you will be able to indentify the cause if it is due to capacity restrictions, but the effect of the availability of componentes can certainly be seen in the global PP/DS log (/SAPAPO/RRPLOG1).

- In the log selection tab, select application PPDS2A, your time horizon, planning and programming logs

- In the filter tab, select version, the heuristic you assigned to your product (e.g. SAP_PP_CTP) and one product.

Worked for me...

In case you want to see the CTP logs, you can also use PPDS2A, but then you have to exclude all heuristics (e.g. Z* and S*). The more obvious choice of application "CTP check" didn´t work in my last project.

If your selection is empty, the log will give you... all the logs it has available (at least at my patch level).
