BW on HANA standard infocubes and DSO objects

Does BW on hana automatically thru the implementation process migrate all standard infocubes and DSO objects into column oriented hana objects?

Or we have to manually migrate one my one infocube and dso objects into hana column oriented object?

No, this is a process you can do at your leisure. If it were an automatic part of the process, migrations could take days for larger systems. Also, it is not a required process at all. If you want to continue operating BW with the non-optimized structures, you can do so as long as you like, until such time as you choose to make the conversion. You can also select individually which structures to migrate - you can do one at a time, or as many as you like, depending on your ability to schedule.

Ya good question...

When you migrating from traditional architecture to HANA architecture, you can follow the same process as you did in the traditional architecture.

As of now there is no such automation process. We need to do manually... You can select your structures and you can migrate it.

Once you migrated then you can not revoke it.
