Error when use tscopy between 2 planning area

Dear all,

I have an error when using tcode /sapapo/tscopy to copy data from KF1 in planning area PA1 to KF2 in planning area PA2.

The error is display in help screen:

Error while locking data

Message no. /SAPAPO/TSM441

Diagnosis

The data needs to be locked while the relationship is being repaired to avoid conflicts with other processes. However, an error occurred when locking the data. Therefore, the relationship repair is being terminated.

The DP BOM relationship affected is between the characteristic combination of output product  and input product . This relationship is assigned to PPM .

But there is no user locking data in these 2 key figure.

When i try to copy data between 2 KF in a planning area by using /sapapo/tscopy, the program run successfully.

Can any one tell my why this error happen anh how to solve this error?

Hi Thai,

Are you using DP BOM and related characteristics? Have you checked anybody or any background job using the planning book?

While executing TSCOPY, the PA should not be used otherwise locking issue will be triggered. If I'm correct, there might be a SAP note with respect to locking issue. Please post your SAP release details.

hi, take a look and apply note 1551987 and 1508383

Go to your planning area (PA1 and PA2) and in tab "Locking Logic" pick "Activate liveCache Lock"
