Dynamic Agents are not assigned to Task under Fork

Dear Fellows,

I have and issue regarding the dynamic assignment of agent to tasks under FORK. The scenario is:

Task have  to be assigned to three persons at the same time (Like Group). Action from any one person must complete the task and also it must be taken from other recipients.

So I used the Fork (3 of 1) . The Agent Assignment is Dynamic using EXPRESSION Variable Name (&VAR1&). But when these steps get activated, they are not assigned to the agents name set in the variables.

Even when I assigned form Administration (SWIA) to the actual agents , they get removed from their PORTAL INBOX.

Please provide solution to the above issue.

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Nasir Hussain

Hi Nasir,

Let me clear about your problem, You have 3 responsible agents for a task however only one person can or should take action on the work item, if he/she takes action the work item should be removed from other 2 recipients inbox. Is it?

If your looking for solution to the above problem, then it is fairly simple and straight forward. You need not to use FORK

1. Create a new rule which brings the 3 agents dynamically from your workflow container.

2. Make the action task as general task (means all users are possible agents for the task)

3. Assign rule created above to the step (From this 3 users can be responsible agent of step/workitem)

4. Once you assign 3 responsible agents, all of them will get the work item in their inbox, If anyone processes the work item/reserves the work item will become the actual agent and that work item will get disappeared from other 2 user's inbox.

Hope this is helpful.

Manjesh.
