New Saphostagent installed, saposcol running fine but not reporting to SAP

Hello:

I have recently installed the saphostagent in one of our SAP System's app servers.  Its all running fine, however, ST06n is not getting any data for this server. At the OS level saposcol is running fine.  The dialog mode also shows current data.

Please can anyone tell me why this is so?

Can you check the status of saposcol and see what data is collected in its shared memory segment using the following.

/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saposcol -m pf=/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/host_profile

Also check if this note is relevant

Note 1064968 - ST06: Unable to start saposcol

Also stop the saphostexec (saphostexec -stop)

Then   delete the shared memory segment data of saposcol using

/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/saposcol -c pf=/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/host_profile

Then start the saphostexec.

You can also clean the IPC objects for SAPHOSTEXEC using

cleanipc 99 remove
