Connecting SAP ERP and SAP ME

Hi Team,

I am working on integrating SAP ERP and SAP Visiprise ME. Is SAP visiprise ME a MES tool supplied my SAP?

1. I have understood that SAP MII is a interface and intelligence (reporting) tool supplied by SAP to integrate the SAP ERP system and the MES systems (like SAP Visiprise ME, High Jump FlexNet). Am i right?

In the attachement, I have positioned the SAP MII in the middle of SAP ERP and SAP ME as a interface tool. Is that correct?
