Setup Hana studio

Hi All,

Could you please advise how to setup/install hana studio on personal PC? Is this possible to add system using the host and instance given SAP once the studio is installed?

Hi. If you are in the same network and if the host and instance server is reachable and you have valid user details to that server you can add the system in studio.

Thanks for replying. I am not on the same network. I have managed to contact the hanasvr-01 by using your advise and by making some changes. I have even gone past the earlier error screen as I could even see "verify sapstartsrv service" message before moving to the database login screen. Once I type my login details provided by SAP I now get the below error.

Please advise.

Though I get this error it allows me to add the system in the studio by prompting for S-ID but there wont be any ODBC connectivity.
