Errors Occurred during extraction

Hello Experts,

I have this issue in QA while I am trying to check RSA3 for a DS which is generated based on set types in our ECC system.

I have error message saying  "Errors occurred during the extraction" I checked the logs I have this message

"The application program for the extraction of data was called up using the invalid InfoSource/invalid InfoObject ZPR_ZZDBM_V_VSPEC_ATTR(DS)."

Extractor works fine in Dev ECC. I have transported the DS and its structure again but no joy.

Please advise what could be root cause.

Hi,

If it is a Generic extractor, try deleting the DS and recreating it. It will create a new Extract structure and then You can try on that DS.

If you are getting this error only while transporting it to BQ1, I have faced such problem before. The field you are using in Dev doesn't exists in BQ1 and BP1. So, find that field, and delete it from your view, Then retransport it to BQ1. It will work.

Guys I am not facing this issue in BW and I didn't try extracting data to BW at all.

I have this problem in ECC when  I am executing RSA3 for my datasource I have this error message

Errors occurred while extracting data.

and the log shows

The extraction program does not support object ZPR_ZZDBM_V_VSPEC_ATTR

and

Diagnosis

The application program for the extraction of data was called up using the invalid InfoSource/invalid InfoObject ZPR_ZZDBM_V_VSPEC_ATTR.

Its not about the Infoobject and BW

I have this issue in ERQ which is QA of ECC.it worked fine in ECC dev.

Hi,

As I have said, It happend to me before, when I have created a Generic datasource, It worked fine in DEV, but when we transported, It was throwing error in QAS and PROD. This is because, I have used a field from one table, which was available in DEV, but it was not available in QAS and PROD systems.

So, have a close look at your view. Then compare the fields with the QAS tables. Suppose If you are using some field from AUFK table in DEV, and If it is not present in AUFK of QAS and PROD, you will get such errors.

do you know what this is? is it the name of your datasource?

Yes this is the name of the datasource.

I have tried debugging the extractor. I found the table "comc_crd_gen_bwo" does not have entries and its throwing error message . In my Dev system these entries are created and the extractor checks for this table and is throwing information that records extracted pro.perly

Can any pls let me know what table is this and how would the entries in this table would be created.

i think you need to transport again your infoobject and the corresponding transfer rules.

Dear Tibollo,

I am getting this error message in ECC. in RSA3 logs I have the error message.

Can you please advise how this error related to BW infoobjects. The extractor it self is not functioning properly.

if you're doing a direct upload to an infoobject it's the same thing. did you try my suggestion?
