Multilevel BOM

Hi All,

I have few questions in regard with multilevel BOM,creation of BOM[Flat or multilevel] takes place via interface now

 

1.How to identify if the BOMs were sent as multilevel/Falt ??

By checking technical tye ??? But i dont see any table which has technical type for a BOM.

or

By checking in tables STK0/MAST Alternative > 1, which means it is multilevel BOM

or

Is there any better way to check this ???

2. Will there any potential impact of creating mutilevel BOM via interface in SAP, if yes how can we measure it ???

Please help me to answer the above questions..

I think you're confused multiple as multi-level.

Multiple is a technical type.

Go to CS12 and execute, if you see more than one level in the level field then its multi level.

There shouldn't be any problem creating multi level through interface as far as I know.

Hi Sireesha,

There is no table in which can show multi level BOM.

You can use the standard reports of CS11, CS12
