Guys,

I need to setup a planning job for converting snp order to ppds order. Just wanted to know what settings needs to be done in rrp7 to enable this to happen as a background job every night. Thanks

HI Shruthi,

Conversion of SNP orders to PPds orders can be done by /N/SAPAPO/CDPSB0.

In Step one select heuristics "SAP_SNP_MULT" and select the products, location and cerated the time profile and assign in it for which period you wan to convert. Save it as a varient and execute in background by selecting the periodic and specify the time and date.

Hi Shruths,

If I understand you correctly, you know how to set up //RRP7 to run in foreground and just want to run it as a batch job.  The program behind the transaction //RRP7

is /SAPAPO/RRP_ORDER_CONVERSION.  Create a variant for this (SE38) and schedule the job with SM36.

If your requirement is just convert SNP planned order or purchase requisition into PPDS planned order or purchase requisition, you need to use heuristic SAP_SNP_MULT and setup a variant using t.code /sapapo/cdpsb0 (as mentioned by Sravan Maturu). You can use t.code /sapapo/cdpsb1 to schedule or execute the SNP -> PPDS conversion in background.

The t.code /sapapo/rrp7 is used for converting your PPDS planned order or purchase requisition into production/process order or purchase order. You can choose conversion to take place either in APO itself or transfer the convertible order into ECC and convert the order there.

The SNP orders are converted to ppds orders by SAP_SNP_MULT successfully. But the ppds orders are not respecting the planning calendar specified in the product master lot size view. The rescheduling sap005 heuristic i used but of no use. Can someone tell me how to make the ppds orders converted from SNP to reread the product master and determine the dates from planning calendar. Pls suggest.

Shruthi,

SAP005 heuristics is just to schedule the operations. You may need to use SAP_PP_002 (Planning of Standard Lots) after the conversion.
