Error "BP027 select a year between 2011 and 2017" when entering FM area and year 2000 in FM9K

Dear Sir/Madam,

When I entered FM area and year 2000 in FM9K, error message "BP027 select a year between 2011 and 2017" occured. Below is the sequence of event.

I have Funds management running in client 801 without problem. We are running on SAP version 4.5B, so I think we are using former budgetting.

I did client copy from client 801 to 802 using copy profile SAP_CUSV (Customizing and report variants) which enables the copy of configuration and report variants.

I executed M9K in client 802 after client copy, entered FM area and year 2000 in FM9K. The error BP027 occured, and I noticed that system is looking for records in table BPCK. In my source client 801, there are 3 records in table BPCK, the Fiscal year for the records are 2000. However, in client 802 table BPCK does not contain any record. As Delivery class of table BPCK is A, so table content is not copied over to client 802.

The question is how to create the records in BPCK with fiscal year 2000 in client 802?

Hi,

The reason of why you are getting error message : BP 027 is because the time horizon defined in your budget profile (in transaction code OF12).

Please check in the IMG->Public Sector Management->Funds Management

Government->Budget and availability control->Budget profiles->

Set up budget profiles-> which value you have on Time frame->past.

dear,

the 4.5B + records in 2000 sound strange...how (who) do you support your system?

i would suggest to create the records directly in table using a debug mode.

contact abaper or technical person.

thanks for the quick reply.

I realized that it may be due to the past and future of time horizon in the funds management budget profile (OF12) as my current year is 2012, my past is 1, future is 5, thus system only allows 2011 - 2017.
