Update Termination while executing MC62 and MC68

Hi All,

When we execute MC62 and MC68 we get a update termination message with text "Message type LIPXXX is unknown". The OSS note 1145094 is already in the system. Am i missing any configuration or do i need to create any message types?

Thanks and Regards,

Sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,

    Check the following note:

    • Note 929410 - Planning: Data transfers using IDOC incorrect

It explains in "Solution" how to regenerate the message category for you info structure.

    Hope it's useful!

    Regards,

    Hi Sandeep,

This is due to the fact that the flag, 'ALE permitted', has been checked in the config for info-structure planning parameters (Production --> SOP --> Master Data --> Set parameters for info structures and key figures). Due to this setting, the system is looking for LIPxxx message type when you save.

    Regards,

    Anand

Solved by generating the message type using MC7E
