I follow the steps in the Tutorial of HANA - Development Guide SPS04 as my HANA is also SP04 R28
I create package (sflight), then create the analytic view, and drag a table sflight.sbook, and add 3 attributes, and 1 measure to the analytic view. Save and Validate, and then Activate it. All these are successful
Activation success, but when “open content” of the analytic view, no data row, with error of “com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException” .
Any idea? Thanks.
Hi
Have you added your schema under _SYS_REPO user SQL privileges with grantable to others with YES option. If not done can you enable that option and check whether it works.Revert with your feedback.

Hi
Below are the steps to follow.
1.Go to Authorizations under catalog
2.expand users
3.find user _SYS_REPO and open the user
4. Under SQL privileges click on Add button and search for your SFLIGHT schema and add it, on the rigth side you see different option select all and grantble to others as YES.
Anyways as you are able to activate it it might have been already added there but make the grantable to others as YES if it is no,otherwise we need to check what else is the problem.
Thanks

Just to add to Santosh's point above, if you don't have the "MODELING" role added to your user, it's worth adding that - should give your the rights to data preview. Discussed a similar problem recently where the problem was around data preview-ing on an analytical/attribute view : http://scn.sap.com/thread/3198430
Thanks,
