activation of requests in Advanced DSO Infocube model

I am trying to automate the activation of requests in an Advanced DSO of type Infocube. After activation, the only method to remove requests is selective delete. Is there a method to automate the activation to behave like compression of a traditional infocube which allows requests of n days old to remain and be deleted as a whole request?

Although a quite old question, good to post here in case someone is interested.

In SAP BW 7.5 on BW HANA which I use today, there is a process chain type called

Clean Up Old Requests in DataStore Objects (advanced)

it's under "Data target administration".

In there you can choose several type of actions, including "activate" and an option to choose how many days or specific requests.
