Error in validation

Dear All,

We apply the one validation for Business palace and section code for MIRO,F-43, MR8M ect.

Now validation running fine but when we reverse the MIRO and try to cleared with reverse document number and reverse with document number system give the error for section code when we Luke the document there clearing document section code not pike.

What we do please help me.

Hi Juhi,

Activate the trace and identify where it is failing.  To do this GGB0->Extras->Activate Trace or Expert Trace->Set Break-point.

Otherwise, you can also try with substitution.

But that validation running from 2009 now we are facing problem.

If we set Break-point any further problem generate that time what we do.

And in the Break-point what we have to do I am new in validation process.

Please guide me.

Hi Juhi,

Since, you are facing the problem with the validation, setting the break point and tracing the error is the easier way.  After setting break point, execute the scenario which you were facing problem.  The ABAP screen will pop up in the validation spot.  There you can check the validation flow and get to know where it is failing.  There is no risk here and even functional consultant can do that.

May be, you can seek help of the developer, if you are not familiar with ABAP debugging process.
