Run action for deputation

Hello experts,

An employee is going on deputation to other department for three years with in the same country (India). His payroll will not be run from current organization. How the deputation action must be configured (should the employment status be withdrawn or inactive?) so that if required, he can join after 3 years with same employee number.

When you say organisation , does these organisation comes under same company code or different

say  Group of companies

these organisation comes under different companies, others company data is not related (they are using their own system, not SAP)

In that case he will be ......In active once he returns to same company u execute Rehire action so what the problem now.

My question is : should his employment status be withdrawn(0) or Inactive (1) now ?

It should be inactive

But employer does not want the payroll to run. If payroll status is inactive, we cannot control through payroll status (0003) IT. How can we not run the payroll for inactive state

Change the payroll area of the employee to unused payroll area
