Employee vacations and work schedule rule

Hello All,

We have a work schedule rule assigned to several employees. When an employee goes on vacation, is there a way to adjust just the employee's planned working time (infotype 0007) for the vacation days? I am not sure if this is done through work schedule rule or some other transaction to book vacation that will update the work schedule rule. The idea is to use workforce planning, in which the employee will be allocated work based on their working time for the week and we need to be able to see how many hours the person is working that week.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If I got your question right, if an employee goes on vacation you will have to book Absences (Infotype 2001) for the period. Planned Working Time - Absence Time will give you the hours worked by the employee for the week.

Please provide more details, if this is not what your are looking for.
