Hello,

Could you please advice on following

I have PO created for WBS  (account assignment ) kindly advice which is actual profit center taken by system one from material master or wbs element and where to find it?

Hi,

The profit center will be derived from the account assigment (like cost
center) during the creation of the PO and not vice versa. Therefore the
profit center of the material master is not handed over to the
Accounting Interface.

The profit center of the material master is only relevant for material
stock posting during GR. In other words, it is only relevant for BSX
postings.

Therefore you either have to enter an account assignment in ME21N or
have to maintain a default account assignment for the GL account
in OKB9. Alternatively, you also can substitute the account assignment.

Hi ,

Profit Center which is assigned to your accounting objects such as Internal order, WBS Elements , Cost Center would be given preference than the profit center assigned to material master.

In case there is no Accounting objects assigned to PO or No Profit Center is assigned to accounting Obejcts then system will pick profit Center from Material master.
