Error in creating Transaction iViews

I am trying to create two transaction iViews, that connect to R/3 and CRM, but I keep on getting the following error messags:

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : N/A

Component Name : N/A

Unable to lookup System 'R93CLNT100'. Please check the system object and the alias..

Unable to lookup System 'C94CLNT100'.

Hi

I'm also trying to create a SAP Transaction iView.

I can preview the iView OK. So it seems that System and Alias are OK.

BUT when I logon as a user on the Portal with that iVew it fails with the same type of error you had.

"Unable to lookup System 'SAPDBEAlias'. Please check the system object and the alias.."

Hi Amr,

Maybe there is error in creation of your system. Check the basic settings that you have done for the backend system and user mapping for backend authentication in User Management category. Finally create an alias for the system you have created and then User Mapping. This should work.

Hi Amr,

You need to create Aliases for your system that you have defined for R/3 and CRM. Edit you system object and select aliases and add the aliases( R93CLNT100, C94CLNT100) in there.
