Default.trc inundated with Security DEBUG entries

My development portal is creating an incredible number of default.trc files per day.  When I open them, it appears that most of them are DEBUG/PATH entries.  I have gone into Visual Admin and set the logging level to Error and restarted the system.  I even made sure that the Error logging level propagted down the tree, yet the entries still appear.

Looking at the entries in the default.trc it appears that the entries have to do with security/authentication (com.sap.engine.services.secuirty.sessionmanagement).  Is there somewhere else that DEBUGGING is turned on?  Thanks in advance.

Hi

If you can identify a log location which is throwing DEBUG entries, you can navigate in visual admin log configurator service tree structure and change the log locations. For testing, change the severity to NONE and see if you still get entries in defaultTrace file.

If you are on 6.40 Sp12 or lower, http trace would also be coming in defaultTrace. Please make sure you have not enabled http tracing. SAP Note 724719 would be helpful.

Thanks

Tapan

Hi,

Make sure that you have not activated Activity tracing. (Path- Server - Services - Performance Tracing - Runtime - Trace Config)

Thanks
