Data load failure at Activation

Hi Experts,

We are getting the below error while activating the data in ODS.

No SID found for value 'KY' of characteristic 0UNIT

I have gone through the forum and found that I need to do "Transfer Global settings from source system".

So, I have transferred global settings from source system, but no luck, when i repeated the activation step, it is again showing the same error.

was anything missed before repeating the activation? please advice.....

Hi Sasi,

The failure in activation step is due to missing unit of measurement KY.

Check in table T006 whether the unit 'KY' is maintained. If it's maintained and any record with this particular unit has been loaded, you would have got SID value for this particular unit.

In your case, I think it's not maintained and no record has arrived so far.

Maintain this unit in UoM table and try to reload the data.

Let us know whether you're done with activation.

Yes. you are correct. I checked in T006 "KY" is not maintained.

I have transferred global settings from source system, after that also "KY" is not available in T006.

then how to maintain it in UoM table (T006).

Please guide.

Hi Sasi,

Then, you have to maintain this unit manually, provided if you have enough authorizations

If u get any error like SID activation error then u have check that corresponding unit are there or not in the corresponding tables or not . If the values are not present u have to consult the corresponding consultant about the values. and tell them to update the tables.

Hi ,

Check with functional team for the maintenance of "KY" in T006 if you do not have sufficient rights.

Then try reloading the data.

Hi,

Delete the data in PSA and replicate the datasource.

load the data again and try to activate the request in DSO, instead of just repeating the activation.
