Hi,

Error clearly says "Number C50010 not defined for material type  Packaging".
The number you are entering during creation of material with t.code: MM01 with
material type 'Packaging' is not defind in your system.

Use t.code: MMNR and find out how numbering  designed for your material type Packaging
Is numbering is internal or external and if external,is it alphanumeic or...etc!

Or check any enhancement for your material type "Packaging"

Dear Balaji,

And without the flag "'External number assignments w/o check" in transaction OMS2, you can't maintain the

alphanumeric numbers.

You screen shot shows VERP as field reference, but SAP says that you do not have this field reference.

Someone must have deleted the field reference VERP after the material type was defined.

Because of that you cannot save your changes in OMS2 now.

Mr Jurgen,

Is there any way to recreate it.

in OMS9 you can choose from menu Utilities > Adjustment

you have to select a RFC to a different system(or client).

so you can compare DEV with PRD or client xyz with client 000.

And you could add an entry from PRD into your DEV system if it was deleted from DEV.

But these connections have to be established by your basis team.

hi

check you number range VERP type ,

go to MMNR t code Here click on group icon , activate the packing at verp Click on display icon , check the number ranges , you enter these sequence number range only , it it external or internal ,

check this number ranges , based on this you enter the at MM01 level , ans also check the OMS2 at VERP details , here check the external number assignment field active

i think

CS50010 , No number range seqence, when you check the OMS2 then you will try this seqence

please check this

Hi,

The screen shot shows the material  C50010 is not created.Create first then you will be able to dis play through MM03 transaction, else you can check if any entry exists for this material in the table MARA,MARC.MBEW etc.If exists then check if this material is deleted. If you are creating a fresh one with this external no,check if material type no range is allowed for external no range or not.If  the material type is allowed for external no range, then you will be able to create one under this no.
