(newbie) Recently restored a production database to a test system. I need this system up yesterday but can't get a straight answer out of support. Was instructed by SAP to issue after the restore (or homogenous copy):
dbmcli -d N01 -u control,control load_systab -u superdba,admin -ud domain - which I will learn about more later
Now I have to activate autolog. When I check autolog .. dbmcli -d SDB -u control, control autolog_show -- AUTOSAVE IS OFF
How do I get it ON? Seems to be a simple question.
Thanks!

Hello Mike,
You could check it also with dbm command "info log", if Log Automatic Overwritei is on.
If you activated the overwrite mode for the log area, the log area is
overwritten cyclically, and you do not need to back up the log entries.
The log backup history is interrupted. Only the log entries of the log
area are available if you need to recover the database.
