For this you have set required entry against field in field selection group, please follow below steps

Path: OLME -> Purchasing Document -> Define screen layout at document level-> select your selection group -> details -> Basis data item -> Plant & storage location

Field Label Reqd.entry Opt. entry Display

    Plant X

    Item category X

    Storage location X

    Hi ,

You can use Screen variant (SHD0) to make these fields mandatory .(Plant & Str loc. in BOM Components) (preferred) or you can take the help of an ABAPER to find an Userexit or Enhancement for this.

    Hope it Helps !!
