Hi,

I went through the link..

few simple questions.. As i said i have to trigger an order at the reading 300 and my equipment has run for an hour of 100, then tell me how can i maintain this in measuring point and what should my counter reading when sceduling the plan. If the equipment is new and it has not used, but still i want the order for 300 hour then what will be reading at measuring point and what counter i will maintain while scheduling the plan. sometimes the order is triggered at lower values also say at reading of 150, why it is happening so.. where can i check, at what reading exactly the order has been triggered..

Other question if i want an order for 300 hrs, 500 hrs then 800 hrs then can they all be assigned to same strategy. can the automatic trigger of notification is possible through exit IMRC0001..

Greetings Ravi,

Please pay attention to your Annual Estimate for the counter. This determines when does the system schedule the Order to be called.

If you want the Order to be called exactly at the end/fulfillment of your cycle e.g. 300 hrs, you will need to set a Call Horizon of 100% on your maintenance plans.

Also in the Maintenance Plan, you can specify a "Start Counter Reading", which is the value from which your cycle is scheduled e.g. if you have a cycle of 300 hrs and a start reading of 0, then the first order will be scheduled at 300 hrs of counter reading (observed or estimated). If you have a reading of 200, then the first order is called at 500 hrs, then 800, 1100 etc.

I believe you do not need an exit to trigger notifications, but rather use a Maintenance Plan category "NO".

Hi,

Thx for the reply..i understood how to maintain the counter reading in plan. can u please explain a bit more how the CntrOverRead and AnnualEstimate impact the order generation from plan..

Also let me know in IK11 what impact does the Counter reading,Difference,TotalCtrReading have in the process. In my case what values should i maintain in IK11. Even if u can explain with some of your example it will be great..

1. Create Measuring point for your counter in IK01

2. Maintain Annual estimate as say 1000.

3. Maintain Measurement document for your counter.

Say, you have odometer for your vehicle. You are starting with 0. After 100 KM run, your counter reading will show as 100. So enter the value as 100 in the Counter reading. Now difference will be 100 as the reading starts from 0. Total counter reading also will be 100.

After one week, when you create the measurement document for same counter, say odometer reading is 240. Now enter Counter reading will be 240. Difference will be 140 i.e., difference between current reading & previous reading. (240 - 100)

After that, you are chaning the new odometer for the same vehicle. Now odometer reading will be in 0 for new odometer. After one week, you are entering odometer reading as 150. Now counter reading will be 150. Difference will be 150. Total counter reading will be Old total reading & current reading (240 + 150) i.e., 390.

If you don't maintain any measurement document for your counter or equipment is idle, system will generate orders based on Annual estimate.

Hi RAvi ,

You need to create a single cycle maintenance plan for it . Use IP41 to create plan . enter the counter number/maintenance point agasint which you wnat to do the maintenance . Also enter the frequency(in your case its 300) . Along with it mention the scheduling period , start of cycle .

Schedule the plan using IP10 and use a background job with IP30 . Now on posting the meas. document , once the reading is 300 it will post a maintenenace plan .
