Material valuation type in PR

Dear Experts,

I have maintained a material XXXX with valuation type as MAT_AS_SPARE in plant 1001 and 1002 with similar material master views.

When I'm creating PR for material XXXX in plant 1001, valuation type category is in edit mode i.e. I can change the desired valuation type. But if I create PR for the same material in plant 1002, valuation type field is in grey (no selection can be done) and surprisingly, default valuation type is coming as MAT_AS_RM for which material is not maintained in plant 1002.

Pl help in finding the cause of this behavior as well as solution.

thanks in advance..

    Hey Raj,

Probably this might be due to missing authorizations (change object) for valuation type in plant 1002.

Please check with your basis team.

    Regards,

    Mohsin
