Consolidated Cost Center Planning report

Hi

We have uploaded the cost planning in KP26 using excel planning.  KSBP shows the correct value with line items but user want to have a report with summary based on cost center and cost element total... instead of every line item as in KSBP. We have tired with subtotal by changing the layout but it does not work in a satisfictory way.

Is there any other transaction or report which will show the consolidated balance of planned values based on cost center and cost element by period without actual values.

Hi there,

There are standard SAP reports available. In your case I think the best is a Report Painter report comparing actual and plan values.

You can find this in the Easy Access menu under 'Accounting' -> 'Cost Center Accounting' -> 'Information System' -> 'Reports for Cost Center Accounting' -> 'Plan/Actual Comparisons'.

Choose the first report 'Cost Centers: Actual/Plan/Variance' with double-click to execute the report. On the selection screen you can enter controllling area, year , period range, cost center group or values/range, cost element group or value/range.

As an alternative you can call this same report:

  • using the transaction S_ALR_87013611
  • using transaction GR55, entering the report group 1SIP and hitting F8 (Execute)

From this report you can drilldown to both the actual line item report KSB1 and the pln line item report KSBP.

If you went for SAP reports and didn´t find any report, go for report painter and create it.
