Frequency of RPTQTA00

Hi Mentors

We have set up quota accrual through RPTQTA00. For this year I have generated the quotas and everything is working fine.

Please let me know if this report has to be run every year for the fresh quotas to be reflected in IT2006? The leave year is from Jan to Dec.

If we need to run this report every year - how to set it up ? Should it be a background job scheduled for multiple years. The client will not have any acess to run these reports and we will not be supporting them after Oct this year.

And also if there are existing quotas already and the report is run again for the new year, how will the system consider the existing quotas? Where should I make the settings for the old quotas not to be included in the new quota accrual.

Please give your inputs and guide me.

    Hi,

    1. Yes, RPTQTA00 should be run every year to generate fresh quotas.

    2. You can schedule the program in background by selecting other period and entering 12 months in the period value for it to run every year.

    3. Your validity and deduction intervals defined for the quotas will differentiate the new quota from the old quotas.

    Hi,

    You may set you condition for accrual of the Quota for every year in the back-end. Check the below

    IMG Path: Time Management --> Time Data Recording and Administration --> Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas --> Calculating Absence Entitlements --> Setting up Methods for Quota Accrual --> Set Up Automatic Accrual Using Report RPTQTA00.

    Maintain all the 4 steps in this node.

      Hi,

      In the third step use the 'Job wizard' which might be the easy process. In the job creation we can specify the time period when to generate the next quota. Here we also have an option of sending a mail to the Time Admin. or the Authorized person on a specified period.

      Can you let me know why the Client/end user is not given the access to generate the quota every year ending.

    Go to SM36, Start conditions-. maintain Date and Time, Mark as Periodic Job, mention Period.
