Need help with SSO configuration

I am implementing SSO using Secure Login SSO & have hit a road block, was hoping if anyone can help me out here.

can anyone outline the steps? This is very new to me.

from the PDF's i see :

1) install CE

2.) run the wizard to get the root, server etc certificates

3.) setup authentication - RADIUS, LDAP, SAP - any one

4.) install Secure Login Library on target ABAP system

from here on im all blank...

to install the Secure login Client why do we require the CustomerALL.reg file?

Is there any thing else to be taken care of while installing the client?

Which certificates do i import into STRUST of my target system? The ones generated by the wizard?

and once i import the certificates will it start working? it seems either too easy or im missing something for sure!

Any help appreciated!

    Dear Rahul,

you plan to setup a SAP Single Sign-On infrastructure in conjunction with the Secure Login Server (SLS) component, which acts as a PKI to provide short lived certificates to your end users. The SLS itself normally is installed and configured (one time) and then it is running without any further administration efforts. So i guess you told the SLS in the configuration to use a specific JAAS module SPNego or LDAP and i also guess you configured the specific JAAS module within the NWA - SSO - login modules?

if this is done, you need to create the so called customerall.reg file The job of this file, is to configure the profiles/applications for the SLC (Secure Login Client) and to tell the SLC where to find the SLS (EnrollURL). But this is well documented within the SAP manuals.

The steps to perform on the backend systems e.g. AS ABAP are quite complex if you are completely new to this topic. Installation of SNC library, creation of SNC certificate, installation of certificate and generation of credentials, setting profile parameters and enabling SNC, user mapping.

My company can provide project support, if you require further support.

    kind regards,

    Carsten Olt
