ITS Url and Portal url

Hello

Any one could tell me the difference between ITS URl and portal URL.

These two are different, so can you please elaborate me.

Previous version of SRM like 5.0 /4.0 used  ITS (Internet Transaction Server)  for carrying out purchasing activities, but with the release of SRM 7.0 (based on webdynpro technology) ITS URL specification is not an mandate. 

In earlier SRM versions like 5.0 , ITS URL needs to be specified in Org . Strcutre setup for attributes like current ITS for external partner and USER,but this is not required in SRM 7.0.

Portal URL is a address required for accessing the SRM 7 application for carrying out the purchasing activities. Portal URl is configured in SAP Enterprise Portal by basis consultant.
