evdre formatting question

Hi,

I know that in my evdre formatting range I can use dimension properties, such as entity.calc="Y". My question is, can I use combinations, such as entity.calc="Y" AND datasrc.calc="Y"?

Thanks,

Arnold

Hi Arnold,

When you specify a filtering criteria in EVDRE, the property used for filtering must belong to the expansion dimension under which you are mentioning the filter.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nilanjan,

I know, my report has entity and datasrc as the dimension to expand in columns. What I need is a way to apply formatting to a specific combination of the two.

Thanks,

Arnold

Hi Arnold,

In criteria, you can simply mention entity.calc="Y" AND datasrc.calc="Y

If one of the dimensions entity and datasrc is in column and other is in row, ensure that you have 'EVALUATE IN' set as blank or ALL.

It works well in the NW version, don't have the access to MS version, you can try it out, it should work.

Hope it helps!!

Hi Arnold,

You can use this type of criteria in advanced formatting range.
