SSO setup failing for Managed system with password protected PSE

Hi All,

I get the following error message when trying to activate the SSO steup on Solution Manager 7.1. The managed system is a Pi system which sends data to HMRC so the PSe has to be password protected.

Found SID for SSO ACL entry : PSO
Found login.ticket_client for SSO ACL entry : 000
The Read entry permission on TicketKeystore/SAPLogonTicketKeypair-cert was given to sap.com/tc~webadministrator~solmandiag/servlet_jsp/smd/root/WEB-INF/lib/SetupLib.jar
The TicketKeystore/SAPLogonTicketKeypair-cert was succesfully read (619 bytes)
A failure occured while importing ABAP SSO ticket certificate in ABAP stack
!! Exception : INTERNAL_ERROR
A failure occured while importing Java SSO ticket certificate in ABAP stack
!! Exception : INTERNAL_ERROR

The managed system is SAP Netweaver 7.0 on windows while SM is on UNIX

I know this can be done manually, does anyone have any idea where I might find a document describing how to do this.

Thanks in advance

Maria

Hi Maria

There could be 2 possible reason for this error.

1.)  Under the trans SOLMAN_SETUP //  automatic config have not been carried out

2.)  While running the manage system config in the solman admin you are giving wrong client.

Hi All,

I managed to import the certificate manually into both ethe ABAP and Java stacks. The reason it couldn't do it automatically was becuase the target system PSE was password protected. Everything now works.

Thanks
