Status Combination Code - Is this field updated automatically?

SAP recently started providing a status combindation field in PROJ and PRPS tables, namely PROJ_STATUS and PRPS_STATUS. Are these fields supposed to be automatically updated whenever there is change in the status at the Project Definition level or at the WBS level? Or do we always have to run the report STATUS_COMB_UPDATE to update these fields? Please clarify.

Yes, the status field will get updates automatically one we change status in WBS element and in project definition.

Thanks for your confirmation. In our system the field is not getting updated automatically for some reason. It gets updated only after running the report STATUS_COMB_UPDATE. What do you think could be the reason?

I face the same problem as Harsha. The status combination code is not update automatically.

I cannot find why. the only solution I see is to triger the report STATUS_COMB_UPDATE after each save of a project.

Does anyone see an other solution?
