Self service procurement missing in SPRO

Dear Experts,

We are in process of setting up a development system with SRM 7.0 EHp1 components

we came across the below dump when i clicked on shopping cart

  • The following error occurred in system SR1 : The ASSERT condition was violated.
  • The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
  • The ABAP call stack was:
    Method: DO_INIT of program CL_WDR_DELEGATING_VIEW========CP
    Method: INIT_CONTROLLER of program CL_WDR_CONTROLLER=============CP
    Method: INIT_CONTROLLER of program CL_WDR_VIEW===================CP
    Method: INIT of program CL_WDR_CONTROLLER=============CP
    Method: GET_VIEW of program CL_WDR_VIEW_MANAGER===========CP

i checked in ST22 Under source code extract below condition was shown

ASSERT /sapsrm/cl_sw_self_service_1=>simplified_sc_is_active( ) EQ abap_true.

i assumed that by activating the simplified shopping cart i can fix this issue but unfortunately the Activate\deactivate of simplified shopping cart is missing in the SPRO.

i have followed the prerequisites to use simplified shopping cart

Software component is SRM_SERVER 701

test user is having /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE_EHP1

Please let me know how can i bring back the self service procurement node in SPRO to activate or deactivate the customizing switches.

    Hello Subha,

    Did you activate SRM Self Service Framework? You can find that in SRPO --> Supplier Relationship management --> SRM Server --> Activate Business Functions. In there there is SRM Self Service 1 functions needs to be activated.

    Thank you

      Hi ,

      I am getting this error in SRM-> strategic purchasing ->sourcing->perform sourcing.

      But it's not happening when I am using the standard roles.

      It's only appearing for customized ones. Means if I am copying the sourcing part into a new portal role.

      Can you please suggest how to resolve this.
