Hi

I am getting the following error when logged into the system for all the users and  others are unable to add the documents for approval and add .

"This entry already exists in the following tables  'Alerts' (OALR) (ODBC -2035)  [Message 131-183] "

Your database is inconsistent now. Log a message to SAP support is your only solution.

I used one work around in Test DB, I OALR have the more than 25000 line  item , i deleted the data  in OALR  table  now its working fine without the error message.

Deletion of OALR  have any problem or bug in future?

People say that “rules are made to be broken” for a reason.

Any kind of changes through sql in back-end its against SAP Policy.

You loss SAP support.

Log massage for SAP support.

OALR table will only be related to alert. If you have so many old messages in system, better check the top users manually delete them through UI.

I manually deleted old messages which is not required to the current  transaction. Now the problem is solved.

Hi,

Are you using Permit More than One Document Type per Series then

Check the Document Numbering... Whether its overlapping with other Document Numbers...

Create a new series in Document Numbering and check its adding or not as test system...

Then you need to Create an New Document Numbering Series...

Symptom

In databases that heavily use alerts or approval procedures that launch alerts, the following error message might appear in the status bar during normal work:

This entry already exists in the following tables 'Alerts' (OALR) (ODBC -2035) [Message131-183].

Reason and Prerequisites

Application error.

Solution

SAP plans tofixthis issue in a patch. Please refer to the info.txt file on SAP Service Marketplace to confirm that the fix was included.

Note! After the fix, in rare cases of problem in the execution of an alert, some alerts might be delayed in showing up in the alerts window. The delay will usually stand on 1 minute, in the worst case the delay could be up to 5 minutes.
