Hello,
I use publications to distribute personalized WebI reports as PDF files.
The dynamic recipients also come from a WebI report. The data in the WebI reports gets filtered via the usage of "local profiles" with "dynamic recipient mapping".
This works as long as I filter the data in the WebI using just one of the data providers in the WebI report. The WebI report contains two data providers. As soon as I map a field from the dynamic recipients to fields from both data providers the publications produces WebI reports including all the data without any filtering as if I didn't configure any personalization at all.
I am using SAP BO 4.0 SP2 Patch 16.
Someone knows how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
Matthias
Hi Matthias,
Kindly refer SAP Note 1570436 and verify if you are following the same workflow.

Hello Nakul,
thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately that SAP Note doesn't exactly cover my problem. The Note deals with the situation that there are multiple filters (on the report and on the publication level) that lead to reports with less than the expected data.
What I am facing is kind of the opposite: I don't have any filters in the report, but personalization filters in the publication (dynamic recipient mapping). This only works as long as I map this filter for only one data provider in the WebI. In that case the publicated WebI report contains the correct filtered data from data provider one and all data from data provider two, like expected. But as soon as I map the filter (dynamic recipient mapping) for both data providers the publicated WebI report contains all data from both providers without any filtering.
Regards,
Matthias
