Transaction created even though user doesn't press on Save button.


Hi All,

In the Complaints Management functionality of the Interaction Center, if a user identifies and confirms the customer, then clicks on the Complaint Work Center to Create a Complaint, but, later decides that he doesn't needs to log a complaint so he simply ends the Interaction by clicking on the "End" button in the top menu of the Interaction Center Screen.

However, before clicking on the "End" button to cancel the interaction, since the user did not click on "Cancel" Button in the Complaint Screen, so system still creates a complaint transaction and assigns a transaction number even though the user did not intend click on "Save" Button in the Complaints Detail screen. However, he did not click on "Cancel" Button either even though he did not wanted to create complaint. He simply ended the interaction by clicking on the "End" Button... so in this case... system is still creating a complaint transaction.

Is this normal or standard? Can this be configured... so that system should not create a complaint transaction or assign a transaction number unless the user clicks on the "Save" Button.
