User Mapping error

Hi all,

I have installed EP60 SP11 on SAP WebAS640 (Abap and Java).I'm not able to create any user in portal.If i create a user in the abap system then its available in the portal.Is there any option that i can do so that users can be created in portal.Also user mapping is throwing an error when i tried to map a user to a system.

Hi Gopi,

the usermapping error is because you have installed WAS with weak encryption. Log into portal and navigate to

Navigate to System Administration ->System Configuration -> UM Configuration -> Direct Editing (Tab)

set the value of <b>ume.usermapping.unsecure</b> to true

You have to create the user in SAP. Read the SAP note 718383.
