Qty fld not getting updated for sub item

Hi,

We have issue for our retail section of business.

they sale KIT made up of 2-3 items of finished goods. SD uses header condition for kit and item condition for individual fg. please note we do not use split cost/revenue for this.FI is posted with kit revenue and COGS.

In COPA, KIT is posted with revenue and qty, Item (FG) is posted with cost and no qty. we need qty for item to get posted but is not happening reason being item level condition is converted to value item by system (VBAK) and as per standard behaviour qty for value and text item is not updated.

But we need so for reporting purpose. Business is more focussed on item level fg rather than kit.

Any idea to post qty of item level.
